Jay is Amazing!

I lost over 35 kilos in the year I worked with her and it completely changed my life! She is super encouraging, friendly, and enthusiastic and cares very deeply about each client, keeping diligent track of training goals/progress and writing very effective programs.

I greatly enjoyed each session I had with her, doing both in-person (mostly) and online when I was away. It never felt like a drag going to the gym or sticking to my diet because she kept things very fun, yet demanding at a perfect level where I saw considerable results, but have not felt overwhelmed. Her nutrition tips have also been crucial, helping me stick to eating habits that I enjoy and can maintain, but which have also greatly boosted my health and helped me reach my goals.

I also need to mention her incredible effort to create a sense of community, hosting group events or challenges every month, highlighting achievements in our client group chats, and sharing tons of helpful information. The community she fosters has been a great opportunity to meet other like-minded people and witness other inspiring health journeys.

Since making huge strides in my health (which I could not have done without Jay), my life has become considerably better in all conceivable aspects. I have way more self confidence, I can wear clothes that I want to wear (not just that fit me), I have gotten into hiking and I'm able to keep up with my fit friends, I have picked up a lot of more physical activities that I thought I would never be able to do, and my all around quality of life - in my ability to sleep well, to do daily tasks, and to be more social, have all become so much easier.

Working with Jay has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, and I cannot recommend her enough!

I have been working with Jay for 4 months now and have had a great experience! I previously hated the gym, couldn't stand to be there more than 20 minutes once a week, and was incredibly nervous and intimidated about taking up space there - however at the end of 4 months I can honestly say I look forward to my gym sessions, trying new things and pushing myself further. Jay really helped encourage my confidence to walk into the weight section of the gym as a 5"2 woman and feel like I belonged there, which is a tricky thing to do. Jay tailored my program around my busy schedule, including starting a new job and heading out with friends at the weekend and came up with a plan that worked for my lifestyle. She also listened to my concerns about lifting weights for the first time and took into consideration my past ski injuries in order for me to get the most out of my work out. Something I was impressed by was the work and research Jay put into my medical conditions ahead of starting the program including things like sleep patterns. By going above and beyond in this way really showed me how personalised my plan was to me. During sessions Jay listened to my feedback on what I found easy or difficult and tweaked my plan accordingly. She has always been keen to push me to achieve a NPB but never gave me anything she knew I wouldn't be able to achieve - I always felt I had a realistic goal to strive towards. I have zero complaints about my PT experience with Jay and look forward to continuing my plan with her! She's truly a great trainer and I wouldnt hesitate recommending her to anyone who wants to up their fitness levels and strive towards a healthy lifestyle. The only downside is I now have to buy new jeans as mine are too big!

I've been working with Jay for almost a year now and have seen a huge increase in my strength and fitness levels. She's amazing.

I was so nervous about starting in the gym and I put off signing up for a really long time, but Jay gave me the confidence I needed. I couldn't do a single push up before and now I'm lifting things I never thought I could. The impact on my fitness, body and mental health have been huge.

The best part is it's genuinely like training with a best friend, she's so supportive but also drives you to push yourself and work hard, plus we have a great natter between sets.

She also takes the time to explain the science behind everything you do and why she recommends it, which I really appreciate. Plus the added diet and sleep support were super helpful.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Jay for the past 5 months. She came highly recommended by a good friend and after many months of putting it off I finally got in contact.

Coming into this I was in a really bad place, after years of crash diets and continually gaining weight I was apprehensive if this would ‘work.’ But, after our initial chat (2 hours, she really takes the time to get to know her clients) I was confident and comfortable in knowing that she would help me in whatever way necessary. Not only diet and exercise but, managing stress and sleep.

Fast forward 5 months I have the confidence to walk into a gym (on my own) and complete a workout without thinking ‘oh they’re looking at me.’ This is major for me, it was the one thing I never thought I would be able to do.

I’ve lost weight but, that’s no longer my priority instead its getting strong and smashing my goals. Again a mindset I never thought I would have, it amazes me and makes me proud.

Most importantly I have started ‘allowing’ friends and family to have/take pictures of me. Its makes me sad thinking about how many memories I may forget because I hated the way I looked and felt.

Jay is consistent. She is reliable, trustworthy, and supportive. She will help you build the tools you need in order to be you most confident self.

I won’t lie this journey will be tough at times but, I can safely say my only regret is that I didn’t start training with Jay sooner!

Jay is an absolute dream to work with! My husband and I have been working with her virtually since around this time last year and having such a skilled and knowledgable PT on the other end of a phone has been invaluable. She’s created some brilliant workout programs for us and checked in with us on a video call every week, which has seriously helped both of us remain accountable and stick to our plans.


Wanting to be more functionally strong was always my main goal and Jay has helped me SO MUCH with that goal already! My physique is more defined and my clothes fit better as well, which has certainly been a bonus! She really has changed my life forever for better! Not only on how workout with and without machines, but she also taught me about how to build a healthy and nurturing lifestyle.

When I started working with her, I used to bring only cabbages with salt and pepper for lunch and dinner. If I go out for a meal, I would freak out because I didn’t know what was in those meals, and got scared of gaining weight. I sometimes even ordered water and sat there while my friends finish eating. I was working out watching YouTube video at home, at least 3 hours a day. I was a typical case of “underrating and overtraining”.
Now, I pack my lunch with good amount of carbs, vegetables and a lot of protein. I go out to eat frequently, but can actually enjoy my meal, because I have idea of what’s in it, and how every single bit of that meal will nurture me and gives me energy to bring my best on the next morning’s workout session with Jay.

The purpose of working out with trainer, I think, can be focused only around looking better or getting stronger. I also had those goals and Jay really helped me achieve them. The weight I can life has grown by over twice for hip thrust, and almost three times for leg press. But what makes Jay so special is that she is really committed in the education on well being as well, checking in on whether I’m sleeping well, how was my daily meal looking like, and most importantly, whether I’m enjoying it.

I’m so happy that I have now very healthy relationship with food, and have good knowledge on how to workout inside and outside the gym. I can 100% recommend anyone to work with her, and I’d come to work with her again 1000% if I were to come back to Manchester in the future.

Jay provides the perfect balance of supportive, fun and accountable. I used her online only service and her programmes are adaptable and she really takes the time to listen if there's exercises you dont like or don't work she finds alternatives to suit you. I have quite extreme hypermobility which she was able to work with. I wish I lived closer to do in person but even online she does weekly check in calls so you feel included. I also love that she focuses on progress pictures rather than weight targets because you can really see the progress in photos even when the scales are being stubborn - I lost a dress size within 8 weeks and had lots of compliments from colleagues. Would absolutely recommend.

I trained with Jay from June 2022 - December 2022. Training with Jay transformed my mindset, and her unique style completely resonated with me, something which I keep with me today. I was most certainly challenged but never made to feel guilty or forced into doing something. During my time training, I saw my body transform and following a few health checks, I could see the results improving, inside and out! Fast forward to present day, I still advocate for weight training and hear Jay’s voice every time I enter any class or gym room, cheering me on! I’m engaging in classes and exercise I never thought I would be fit enough to do, and I am still maintaining a healthy diet whilst enjoying myself.

I've trained with Jay for the past 6 months. In that time I've lost nearly 10kg while putting on muscle.
She's made me challenge myself and then surpass my own goals. There's been no crazy diets, just rock solid advice and encouragement both in and out of the gym. I'm 3 notches on my belt slimmer and have never felt better for it. I can now do pull ups, deadlift 100kg and so much more that I never thought I'd be able to do.

Choosing to train with Jay is a decision you won't look back on.I first started training with Jay because my upcoming wedding. I have been so lucky to train with Jay since January. She is incredibly knowledgeable and professional and the routines that she develops, and adapts for you as you progress are so brilliantly done. I always come away feeling that I could not have pushed myself any firther, but she always makes sure that you never go past a point where it is too much. I have reached goals that I never thought I would achieve, and everything is done with great conversations, massive attention to detail, careful observation and constant adaptation as needed. If she has a space just go for it, otherwise be patient on her waiting list, as I was, until the opportunity arises.

Jay is absolutely fantastic! She’s incredibly dedicated to her clients and understanding of what they want to achieve and why. She goes above and beyond in what she offers as a personal trainer. She connected me to her other clients so that there was a community of us to share tips and ask questions. She made sure I was well equipped with all the resources I needed not only to make the physical improvements I wanted but to create the lifestyle needed too. I’ve had quite a few personal trainers over the last few years and Jay was undoubtedly the best I’ve had. She really went above and beyond, found out my strengths, what I enjoyed doing, areas I needed to improve and work on and we smashed it. Her attention to detail was second to none and there was a real person centred care approach to her work. Not only that she would check in during the week and in between sessions to ask how things were going, and most importantly for me give me a nudge. I really couldn’t recommend her enough.
